Borys Tarasyuk: Denying Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic Course is Against the Law

President of the People’s Movement of Ukraine, Chairman of the Committee for European Integration, Vice-prime Minister/Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Opposition government Borys Tarasyuk called the recent statement of Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko on NATO as such that contradicts the Law. The Foreign Minister stated, that the issue of Ukraine joining NATO is no longer on the agenda, as NATO membership idea is not supported in the Ukrainian society. Moreover, Gryshchenko claimed that Ukraine’s accession to NATO would undermine security in the region.
